she needs to be followed up. Any history of family colon cancer? Her family doctor will have to keep an eye on the rectal bleeding. If she has any changes in her bowel habits or significant weight loss, see the doctor a.s.a.p.

Its Very possible Just as anything is possible. At 60 yrs old I'd be suprised if she hasnt gone to see a doctor yet. You would be suprised how many people there are out there Who dont know straining is bad. Means something is wrong. Try some colon blast before you get ass cancer.

The hemorrhoid cream that Michael's of Texas Co. makes is the best cream I and anyone I know w/ 'roids has ever used. If you can't seem to find it in a co-op or healthfood store, write to the company directly and see what their minimum order is. The stuff works incredibly well, is all natural, and doesn't seem to have any side effects. Comfrey salve and witch hazel applied to cotton pads will help too.

Sqeeze a whole lemon into a glass of milk and drink it. DO this for 5 days.
These exercises will also help.
Build up your timing gradually.If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then – close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs.You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day).Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Hemorrhoids are caused by too much pressure on the veins in the rectum.

You can also add more fiber to your diet, or calculate how much you already have. You can also try some cream or ointement like chamomile to ease and relieve the swelling.
